How we catalog chassis

A chassis family can have a left-hand version without every version being left-handed. Our entries preserve that distinction and show exactly what the manufacturer evidence establishes.

Coverage, as of 2026-09-05

27 documented entries from 9 manufacturers. In progress; not an exhaustive census of the current market. Live stock, regional distribution and some descriptive fields remain unverified.

What each profile records

Manufacturer, family and generation
One stable profile per documented design; a new generation is not silently substituted for an older one. Color choices do not create extra entries.
Handedness
Dedicated left-hand product or an explicitly documented ambidextrous design. Symmetrical grips and ambidextrous controls alone are insufficient.
Construction and ergonomics
Manufacturer-described materials, stock shape, cheekpiece, grip and stock adjustments. Unverified details remain visibly unknown.
Specifications and prices
Weight and dimensions retain units and configuration context. Base-only packages are identified. Prices retain their currency and are dated manufacturer listings, not live offers.
Variants and SKUs
Actual published variants link to the manufacturer. Configurable options are kept separate from verified combinations. Missing SKUs are not invented.
Product photographs
Manufacturer chassis images carry source attribution. Representative photographs may show a different color, handedness or optional components; archived images may remain unverified.
Documentation status
A current manufacturer listing, or historical documentation. Neither means in stock; historical does not necessarily mean discontinued.
Evidence and date
Direct manufacturer sources and the date reviewed. Product descriptions are paraphrased and claims remain attributable.
Availability scope
U.S. availability, international availability and current inventory require separate evidence. An overseas page does not establish U.S. distribution.

Verification process

  1. Discover candidates through manufacturer collections, catalogs and independent references.
  2. Find explicit manufacturer evidence for the exact product and handedness. Treat other references as leads until confirmed.
  3. Check the current page against older documents for generation changes, redirects and conflicting descriptions.
  4. Record sources, review date and unresolved details. Keep historical evidence separate from current listings.
  5. Recheck before publication and when a source changes. Periodic reviews should revisit every manufacturer, including previous exclusions.

Open checks and exclusions

These findings explain gaps in the catalog. They are not confirmation that a manufacturer has no left-hand products.

WOOX

Needs product-level evidence

The official material documents some left-hand offerings, but an ambidextrous grip alone does not verify a left-hand chassis. Furiosa family versions require separate confirmation.

Manufacturer source

Vision Products

Needs handedness evidence

Current Pro and Legacy families located. Reviewed thumb-rest evidence does not establish handedness for a complete chassis.

Manufacturer source

PDC Custom

Needs current documentation

The official homepage was reachable, but did not expose a current left-hand model list. G5C is a research lead, not a verified entry.

Manufacturer source

L3i Design Solutions

Source access incomplete

Hyve is a research lead. Its product page could not be retrieved reliably; left-hand support has not been verified from a current manufacturer description.

Manufacturer source

Cadex Defence

One explicit exclusion

The current Tundra Strike FAQ explicitly says it is not offered in a left-hand configuration. Other documented Cadex families remain in the historical section pending a current-generation audit.

Manufacturer source

Grey Birch MFG

Current pages do not establish left-hand version

Current T1X and CZ 457 product pages were reviewed on the official gbmfg.co domain. They describe ambidextrous sling points but do not expose explicit left-hand versions in the retrieved content. Retailer references to LH versions remain unresolved.

Manufacturer source

Aero Precision

Handedness not established

The official SOLUS page describes an ambidextrous magazine release. That does not establish a left-hand chassis.

Manufacturer source

GRS

Historical left-hand evidence; classification unresolved

A manufacturer article documents left-hand Warg offerings. Current chassis-versus-stock classification, model generation and availability need review.

Manufacturer source

Ashbury Precision Ordnance

Handedness not established

The reviewed SABER overview documents ambidextrous magazine releases, which is insufficient to classify the complete chassis as left-handed.

Manufacturer source

Ultradyne

Handedness not established

The official FAQ contains left-hand discussion for sights, not confirmation of a left-hand chassis. Product-level evidence is still needed.

Scope

  • Standalone chassis for traditional rifles; complete firearms and rifle actions are excluded.
  • International evidence is retained, but does not establish U.S. availability.
  • A conventional stock is not automatically a chassis; hybrid designs need clear manufacturer classification.
  • Unreviewed manufacturers are research candidates, not negative findings.
